Run for Love

World Outgames will kick off with a great day of running at Amager Strandpark. Besides the official World Outgames running competitions we will have four running workshops if you just want to run for fun. We call these workshops "Run for Love".

We encourage our participants in the LGBT Human Rights conference participants, the cultural participants as well as the sports program to join us and run for love.

You can chose to run 5 K, 10 K, a half marathon or a full marathon for fun. NOTE that you will not be taking part in the World Outgames running competition.

The Beach Park is the perfect venue to get to know Copenhagen from its waterside. We promise a warm sun shining from a clear blue sky, cool water and happy crowds to cheer you on as you pass. While running, you will have a view to Sweden, watch the planes take off and land from Kastrup Airport and experience the beach area.  For the runners participating in the half and full Marathon, you will also run through the beautiful parts of old Copenhagen and along its canals.

Apart from the running, the beach volleyball tournament will take place at the beach as well as other workshop activities planned to be held there, so both participants and spectators will have a full day of fun.

See you there!
