Copenhagen City is in the process of building brand new facilities at Copenhagen Aqua Arena. The facilities are scheduled for completion in the spring of 2009.

Copenhagen Aqua Arena will be able to cater to both recreational swimming and international competitions. The 7,000 square meter swimming facilities will include a pool of international competition standards (Long Course Meters for single LCM, 50 x 25 meters, 8 lanes) and a springboard diving and warm up pool (25 x 15 meters). The pool area can also be transformed into two to three water polo lanes. Moreover, the venue will offer seating for 1,000 spectators, great changing facilities, and well-equipped fitness areas.
