How many sports can I register for?

Your registration fee includes the participation in one sport. It is possible to register in as many sports as you like, as long as you make sure the schedule for your sports do not collide.


How much do I have to pay?

The fee for Early Registration from 10 April 2008 to 30 September 2008 is 1200 Danish kroner for one sport. From 1 October 2008 until close of registration on 30 April 2009, the fee will be 1500 Danish kroner for one sport.

If you wish to participate in additional sports, the fee is 120 Danish kroner per sport during the Early Registration period, and 150 Danish kroner per sport after that.


When do I have to pay?

You pay when you register. You can pay by credit card or via bank transfer.


I would like to play a team sport, but am not a member of an organized team. Can I register?

There will be an open registration for all team sports. Individual registrants who are not on a participating team will be assigned to a mixed team compiled by our secretariat. We will let you know who is on the team before you arrive, so that you will have the opportunity to communicate with new team member before you meet in Copenhagen.

Once I have registered, is it possible to make changes?

Yes. Changes can be made at any time prior to close of registration on 30 April 2009.  This can include changes to your personal data, discipline or even a sport. Changes to choice of sports or events are naturally subject to availability.


How do I make changes to my registration? 

Following registration, you will receive a log on id and can use this to access the registration system at our website www.copenhagen2009.org. Here you can makes most cahnges, but if you need to change a sport you have to request a change. Send an email to .

When registration is complete, and payment of the fee confirmed, you will also receive an e-mail explaining how to amend your registration details. 


What does my participation fee include?

Your fee includes participation in your choice of sport(s) and the opening and the closing ceremony.

You will also receive a goody bag, great discounts on parties and social events, and much more. See what you get.


Will it cost me anything if I cancel?

Yes. Withdrawing from participation in the tournament will involve a cancellation cost, depending on when you cancel. This means that part of your registration fee will be lost. Find more information in our Payment and Refund Policy.


Is it possible to add extra activities after I register?

Yes, it is possible, depending on availability And, apart from the fee for the extra activity, no further registration fee is involved.


What is the Outreach Program?

World Outgames 2009 aims to be an event of global interest and hopes for participation from as many countries as possible. Our Outreach Program sponsors participants from locations other than Canada, the United States, Western Europe, Israel, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong. Our goal is to target those LGBT individuals who could not normally afford to take part in World Outgames 2009.
