Synchronized swimming will welcomes you to a competitive, fun and social tournament for all swimmers. There will be lots of opportunities to present challenging series and aesthetic formations, to become number one.
There will be four divisions: solo, duo, trio and teams of 4 to 8 members. Swimmers will be divided into age categories.
The 2009 International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics Championships will be hosted together with the competition in synchronized swimming at the World Outgames 2009, in cooperation with IGLA and Copenhagen Mermates, which is a part of the Danish organization PAN Idraet.
In addition to synchronized swimming, the IGLA championships will also feature the other aquatics: swimming, water polo and diving.
