The Ice Hockey tournament for both men and women will be divided into two divisions: open and recreational. The open division is highly competitive and for experienced players, while the recreational division is more relaxed and for those who want to improve their skills and have a good time.
Teams in each division will play two rounds. The preliminary round will be played in a round robin format through pools with each team in a pool playing every other team once.
The medal round will be played in a knockout format, pitting the top teams from each pool against each other. Each team is guaranteed to play a minimum of four games. All games will be played in three periods.
Participants can only register to play on one team. Teams will be allowed to dress a minimum of 11 and a maximum of 22 players. Women will be allowed to play on men’s teams and mixed teams will compete in the men’s division.
