Field Hockey will include a men’s and a women’s division. Both divisions will play a preliminary and medal round.
Preliminary round
The preliminary round will be played in a round robin format with each team playing every other team once. At the end of the round robin, the teams will be ranked according to their performance.
Medal round
Teams compete for medals based on their ranking in the preliminary round.
- 1-2 gold and silver
- 3-4 bronze
The remaining teams play for final ranking.
Matches
All matches will be played on a full pitch for 2 periods of 35 minutes each. Halftime between each period lasts 5 minutes. Teams must consist of a minimum of 13 players and a maximum of 15 players, including 1 goalie.
