March with World Outgames and Copenhagen Pride in the closing ceremonial parade that will end a fantastic week of sports, parties, culture and love.
The traditional Copenhagen Pride Parade will also mark the official end of World Outgames 2009. The parade will begin at 1 pm at Frederiksberg Town Hall Square and end at Copenhagen City Hall, where the baton will be passed to the next host for Outgames.
All World Outgames participants, visitors and volunteers are invited to ride on one of the two World Outgames floats or march with us as the parade moves down Frederiksberg Allé towards Copenhagen City Hall, for the closing ceremony. Come dressed in the costume of your nation, team or sport - or just be yourself. Bring your teammates, family and friends for a festive walk through Copenhagen.
If you would like to take part in the parade, join our group at noon on Saturday, August 1st at Frederiksberg Town Hall Square. Help us make this the longest pride parade in the history of Copenhagen and a fantastic buildup to the closing ceremony. Remember, the parade starts at 1 pm.
