We can’t wait to welcome all our participants with a fantastic international World Outgames Grand Opening Party with some of the hottest DJ's and performers from the OutCities; Melbourne, Tel Aviv, Mexico City, Antwerp, Denmark’s own Aarhus - and of course Copenhagen.
It all takes place at the very best party venue in Copenhagen, Halvandet. Situated on the harbourfront, with a spectacular view over the towers and spires of the inner city, the venue has excellent party spaces indoors and outdoors. In 2008, Halvandet was granted the title as one of the ten best beach parties in the World by The Sunday Times. Read the article in Sunday Times.
And it’s not only the DJ program and venue you can look forward to - GETTING THERE will be an extraordinary Copenhagen experience in itself.
When the Opening Ceremony at City Hall Square ends, all the canal boats in Copenhagen will be docked at Soeren Kierkegaards Plads waiting to sail everybody across Copenhagen harbour to Halvandet. Soeren Kierkegaards Plads is just 10 minutes from City Hall Square by foot. Soeren Kierkegaards Plads is also where Aarhus has its OutCities “One Love City”. So while we wait for everybody to get on board, Aarhus will be opening its bar and entertaining us.
For those who are not keen on a boat trip we also provide a bus service to Halvandet. Busses will leave from Vestervoldgade by the City Hall.

Tickets for both party and transport are free but limited! So all you need to do is to get your ticket today.
