Mexico City is an intense and welcoming world, captivating you with its complex beauty, radical art scene and fascinating mix of ancient Aztec culture and world-class cityvibe - a seething mosaic of life and culture. This city has made huge improvements at all political, cultural and social levels, because in a city so crowded a lot of cultures live and learn from each other.
The LGBT community is one of the most relevant social movements, because we have thirty years of history that are witness to the fact that several generations of people have stood up for their rights and made the road ahead easier for us that follow.
It is a great honor for Mexico City to participate in World Outgames 2009. We’ll be bringing the best culture, exhibitions and shows to give the world a true taste of Mexican culture and encourage everyone that experiences it to travel and enjoy the full experience in Mexico City itself.
