Enjoy a comprehensive look at "Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen", as the song goes - by land and by sea. The tour covers much of classic Copenhagen - the capital city of the kingdom of Denmark since 1417 - a city in which the modern developments of the 20th century, far from spoiling the atmosphere of history and old-world charm, have blended with the older buildings and monuments to form a thriving and harmonious environment.

You will see the historic Town Hall Square or Radhuspladsen, where stately buildings mark the traditional centre of the city. The City Hall was finished in 1905 and its tower rises almost 350 feet. As you continue your tour of Copenhagen you will come to Rosenborg Castle, New Harbour, King’s New Square, as well as the residence of the Royal Family - Amalienborg Palace and the beautiful park, Amaliehaven, at the seafront.

At Gammel Strand - formerly the Old Fish Market - you take a boat. This leisurely cruise takes you through the canals of Christianshavn with its picturesque old buildings and Our Saviour’s Church with its green and gold steeple and other landmarks before making a stop at "the Little Mermaid", the national icon of the fairytale creation of Hans Christian Andersen. End at Gammel Strand.
