Find out whether or not you need to apply for a visa in order to enter Denmark. Please note that foreign nationals who have been granted certain types of residence permits in another Schengen country do not need a visa to enter Denmark.
Applicants for a visa must use a special form. The application form is available at Danish missions abroad and can be downloaded here. Applications must be submitted via the Danish missions abroad (all embassies and certain consulates). See list of Danish missions abroad.
For certain countries Denmark has an agreement with another Schengen country about handling of visa applications on behalf of Denmark. If there is no Danish mission, applications must be filed at diplomatic representative offices in another Schengen country (see the list of cities where other Schengen countries are representing Denmark). If no Danish mission or representation from another Schengen country is available to process visa applications for Denmark, the application may be submitted in another country where Denmark is represented.
Some Danish missions only receive visa applicants upon previous appointment, and at missions the present waiting time to render a visa application is 6 weeks. It is therefore recommended to contact the relevant mission prior to submitting a visa application. Find the mission here.

Documentation of participation in World Outgames 2009 in Copenhagen is needed when applying for a visa. You have to enclose your registration confirmation for the event.
