Some foreign nationals who wish to visit Denmark for a short period of time must obtain a visa prior to entry, if he or she comes from a country with a visa requirement for entering Denmark. You can find a list of countries whose citizens require a visa to enter Denmark here.
A visa grants the holder a right to stay in the entire Schengen region. See a list of the Schengen countries here. A visa gives the holder the right to spend a maximum of 90 days per 6 months in the Schengen countries. A visa does not grant the holder the right to work in Denmark.
