Everyone has the right to form a relationship and found a family, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. But LGBT families and relationships are still highly controversial in many parts of the world. As a result, LGBT people have to struggle for acceptance and are faced with a variety of problems ranging from legislative restrictions and economic inequalities, to persecution and assault.
This conference theme will examine strategies and good practices for how to grant LGBT people equal rights to establish a relationship and a family.
